This 12.5 watt dimmable downlight module for housings with a GU24 socket is a complete recessed downlight trim kit and LED light in one unit. The 6-inch-diameter unit will install easily in most 6 inch IC or non-IC rated housings with a GU24 socket, supported by a rotating clip retention system. The light output (1000 lumens) and color quality (90 CRI) are very similar to incandescent reflector lamps typically used in residential downlights, drawing significantly less wattage.

The color temperature is 2700 degrees Kelvin (warm white). The unit will dim to about 20% of full light output, and has a rated life of 50,000 hours. Note: The Cree LR6-DR1000 unit may be installed in the Cree RR6 GU-24 Retrofit Housing (sold separately) or may be retrofitted into 6” housings from select manufacturers using the supplied GU24 whip adapter. A full height 6" recessed can is need to accommodate the 6.25" LR-DR1000 module, plus the supplied GU-24 base (see Installation Guide link below)
